في هذا اليوم، بعد زوال حكومة الأسد، نستذكر ضحايا جرائمه ضد شعبه وضد الشعب اللبناني وسيادته. نستذكر الرئيس دانيال كميل شمعون وعائلته، ونؤكد أنه رغم أن حكومة الأسد المجرمة هي المسؤولة عن اغتياله، إلا أنها لن تتمكن أبداً من إطفاء حلمه، وهو حلم نحمله جميعاً بفخر، وهو

إننا نشكر الرئيس دوري كميل شمعون على حكمته، وعلى شجاعته في عدم الخضوع أبداً لحكومة الأسد المجرمة. نشكره على إبقاء حزب الوطنيين الأحرار حرًا بكل معنى الكلمة، لأنه لم يستسلم أبدًا ولم يزر الدكتاتور مطلقًا، ناهيك عن مصفخاته

On this day, as Assad’s government is no more, we remember the victims of his crimes against his own people and against the Lebanese people and its sovereignty. We remember president Daniel Camille Chamoun and his family and we ascert that even though Assad’s criminal government is responsible for his assassination they could never extinguish his dream, a dream we all carry proudly, a dream we will keep fighting for until it becomes reality. We thank president Dory Camille Chamoun for his wisdom, for his bravery to never bow to Assad’s criminal government. We thank him for keeping the National Liberal Party free in every sense of the word, for never giving up and never even visiting the dictator let alone shaking hands with him.
May the soul of every martyr rest in peace and rejoice in this day
